Metronet (UK) is pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for the Manchester Evening News Business of the Year Awards 2015.

The awards, which are in their 22nd year, showcase the region’s best companies of all shapes and sizes and Metronet (UK) is shortlisted in the £10m – £25m turnover category along with Zen Office, EDM and Designer Habitat.

Metronet (UK) was born and bred in Manchester and has been based on Manchester Science Park since their beginning in 2003. Since then the company has evolved from a 4 man team to over 160 employees with a turnover of £16.5 million and has become one of the UK’s most trusted ISPs.

The company is heavily involved within the Manchester region boasting some of the areas brightest companies as customers such as MediaCityUK, Bruntwood and Intu. Metronet (UK) also supports many of the city’s top charities including Forever Manchester, Challenge4Change and The Factory Youth Zone.

The awards, which take place at the Midland Hotel on the 12th November, are sponsored by PwC, The Manchester College, Hill Dickinson and Roberts Walters, with Turkish Airlines as premium sponsor and Bolton School as a category sponsor.
